Chalfont St Peter Street Decorations

The Chamber of Commerce is responsible for the provision of the street decorations which make the village centre such an attractive place to live, work and shop. The flags and Christmas lights are an integral part of Chalfont St Peter and are always admired by locals as well as those neighbouring towns and villages. Traditionally the cost has been met through contributions from the village centre businesses but times change and we have embarked on a fundraising programme to keep them going and then extend and improve them.

We’re delighted to say that we were awarded a substantial donation from our friends on the Feast Day and Fun Night Committee in 2023 and as a result, we were able to replace the old broken lights on the large tree in the precinct. Thanks to all those involved. We also help fund the street decorations by becoming one of Buckinghamshire Lottery’s good causes.
